How did I help?
As a UX design consultant and social media manager, I led the complete overhaul of the club's brand and collateral. I modernised the social media strategy and revitalised the club's Instagram presence with engaging, visually appealing content that reflected the club's personality.
I also redesigned the clubs membership cards, documents, internal signage and social media graphics, ensuring consistency in the club's new visual identity across all verticals. Every touchpoint was aligned with the goal of making the club look more professional, welcoming and modern.
The Results
What impact did I make?
The modernisation efforts resulted in a significant increase in social media engagement, particularly on Instagram. It additionally boosted the club’s visibility within the community. The refreshed, professional look attracted more attention from potential new players, leading to an increase in membership and participation.
The enhanced brand presence helped attract new sponsors, further strengthening the club’s financial position.

What were my learnings & experiences?
Working with Newtown and Chilwell Cricket Club allowed me to combine my design expertise with my personal passion for sports. I focused on transforming the club’s visual identity to create a modern and cohesive presence, enhancing both community engagement and overall visibility.
By improving the club's online and offline collateral, I contributed to strengthening the connection between the club and its members, while also making it more appealing to potential new players.
